So I thought I was having an awesome week of no one dying, I wake up this morning and see all my danios doing the love dance in the big tank. All except my number one fertile myrtle big momma danio--my favorite. As I search the tank I find this: 
my heart stops. She's dead? I shake it off and go to get the net. As I start to pull on her tail to get her out she swims deeper in to her trap!! She is alive?! I finally get her free and she takes off to spawn with her friends. No worse for wear. No wounds her fins all look fine.
What should I stick in that space so it doesn't happen again?

Try a small wad of filter floss or a sponge cut to fit the gap.
