intresting water test results

OK so my 10 gal has been running for about 2 weeks now with the 2 platys with daily water changes to keep the ammonia down. Now I have tested the water for ammonia and it has dropped considerably since yesterday.... And no water change took place. I tested for nitrites (0 ppm) nitrates (0 ppm) ammonia is barely pushing (0.25) since the ammonia is going down shouldet I be seeing nitrites going up.....
Any ideas!!!!!!!!!

Very soon you should see ammonia at 0 and nitrites go up.

Remain constant with the testing and water changes, the nitrites can spike fast which will be devastating to the fish.

Yep, once the nitrItes change to trAtes then water changes are there to keep the level below 20ppm.

Just be vigilant with the testing an water changes for now
