iridescent shark

What are peoples thoughts on this fish?

My cousin has one, he bought 3 originally when he didn't know what they were and now feels bad that he has him in only a 55gallon tank, thoughts??

They can grow upto 4 feet he needs a bigger tank lol

They usually don't reach more than 20 inches in captivity though. I read of some body on here keeping 1 in a 75 for 30 years! There's a huge tank at my lfs with one it. He's been in there for years and is still 15 inches long. Btw the one in the 75 is still alive but he should get a much bigger tank!!!

I know they get big which sucks cause they Are a beautiful fish, little silly, my cousins knocks himself out all the time cause he gets scared, prolly cause hes alone right? I've heard they like to school with 3-5 ?

Yeah but once they get bigger they do fine on their own.
