is 86F too warm ?? my temperature is a stable 86F.

It depends. How are the fish acting?

Some fish can handle it some cant, best way to see is to monitor them.

I have recently treated white spot in my tank and cranked tempature up too 86, fish dont seem to mind it so I am leaving it at 86 to prevent it.

I also have corys and they seem fine with it, but as I said best thing to do is monitor them and make sure they are not gasping for air.

Hotter water does not hold air as well as cooler so I had to add a extra air pump and stone.

Why is it so high? High temps speed up metabolism in most fish. How are the fish acting?

Some (many) corys don't do well at temps over 80. Keeping the temp at 86 to prevent ich is a bad idea.

You shouldn't keep it that high just to prevent the ich. If you get the ich turn it up and add a little salt, half teaspoon per 10g. No need to have it kept that high. Angels and Cory Peter 76-80

I cant add salt to my tank, too many fish that xant handle it

After treating for ich the temp should be slowly lowered back to normal 76-80
