Every now and then I'd get a shrimp looking like that then poof. New shrimps!

I'm surprised, this is an amano shrimp and from what I've read they are pretty finicky when it comes to breeding conditions

Oh no, they will berry up but the fry need brackish water to survive. I have six that look just like that but I never get any babies out of them. It's pretty complicated to breed them, I want to try though once I get my angel problem sorted out.
