It'll probably cost a lot to have an aquarium shipped to you. Have you checked the ebay local listings to see if there is anything in your area that you could just pick up? You can search on ebay just in your area.

If you want to know shipping costs, just click on "ask seller a question" on the right of the ebay page. They should be able to give you an idea. You will have to be registered with ebay to do this, but your email will remain private.

I think ebay is a great place to find cheap aquarium stuff. Good luck.

I wouldn't risk shipping a glass tank, certainly not with UPS or the usual carrier. To ship properly, you'll need to have it properly padded & crated, and with the weight you'll prob have to go with a frieght company. This is rather expensive way to go - you can prob. pick up a NEW 29 for the price of shipping alone.

A new 29 gal tank costs almost $50 just for the tank. So if you can get that whole setup for under $50, and you can pick it up, this would be a steal.

Be prepared to buy a new filter because the under gravel filters are terrible.

That's a bad deal. a) The filter's krappy, the tank b) the tank is readily available elsewhere (it *is* a 29 gallon tank, not a 24 gallon, by the way), c) the gravel sounds horrible, and d) the shipping will be far too much.

Don't go with it.
