Is this red slime algae?

It is thick and smooth deep red. Not slimy at all but can't tell.

If I use a tooth brush it does. But when I blow off the rock and do a water change it stays on. I'll prob just scrape it off.
 
Hard to tell. Looks purple in the pics. Red slime will blow off easily with a turkey baster. PS - get a new one dedicated to the tank. Works great for cleaning rocks during water changes.
 
I have a turkey baster I use for feeding the anemones and blowing off the rock. It doesn't blow off though. I'll leave it be. Thanks!
 
No it's deep dark red. Scrape it of then?
 
coralline algae comes in a deep dark red form too its just hard and hard and requires scraping, cyano or red slime algae is slimey and is easily removed from surfaces
 
coralline started on my rocks in green, purple,pink , deep red
