My 50g long is starting to get a little cramped for my liking so I spent the weekend looking for a new tank. I had "thought" I found a 180g and the seller even verified the measurements (72x24x24). I get a couple buddies and drive out to pick it up and he didn't even bother to measure it . It was a 150. Still a great tank but not at the price he was asking.
So I went with this tank instead. It's a 125g (72x18x22) and as a bonus the wife likes this stand much better than the 2x4 stand the other one had. I scrapped off the ugly blue background and I'm in the process of painting it black. If all goes well the second coat will go on tonight and this tank should be set up tomorrow.
Filtration is my Aquatop CF-500UV that is on my 50g.. and a new Fluval FX5 .
My current stock list is:
1x 9" fire eel
2x dwarf guarami
6x 1.5 - 2.5" clown loaches
6x 2-3" australian rainbowfish
I ordered another fire eel and a jaguar catfish earlier today.
Anyway.. some pics. More pics to come as I assemble everything.
