Jack Dempsey Mating partners?

Do jack dempseys have multiple mating partners or do they just have one for life?

Primarily mate for life. Typically unless you have a huge tank once a pair spawns all other Jack will be killed in short order.

Now what if I removed the female and replaced it with an Electric Blue Dempsey would he then mate with her?
