my gawd those frags look awfully familiar XD

Can't wait to see them once they grow and spread!
Haha they should look familiar!

I want a clam. :D But not just yet.

I went to the lfs yesterday and added a Hi Fin Banded Goby to the tank. No pics yet, he doesn't stay out in the open for long. Maybe he will when I feed them today.

I also got 2 coral frags. Here are pics:

A candy cane coral and a Hammer Coral. I know I should have waited on the Hammer, but its doing well so far. It opened up after being in the tank for about 30 mins.

I took some full tank shots earlier, just gotta upload them. I'll try to get some goby pics asap. :)

Lucky. Lol. Awesome pictures and awesome corals. Your tank is coming along great.

wow great job. Let me ask you something. Do you wish you went bigger? like a 55g or 75g? Ot do you think this 38g was enough?

Tbh.. i wish i went with a 38 or 40 lol.. i don't really like big tanks. Just watch, i predict this 38G to easily be one of the nicest SW tanks ever. Honestly, just watch.. it will. ;D

See that is why i am asking. Because I don't know if for my 1st SW tank i want to do a 75g. I could do a smaller tank to start out with, probally like a 40g breeder.

40g with a good size sump would be awesome. Lights would be cheaper, until you wanted to upgrade.....to a............

personally i like the 50 gallon. same footprint as the 40 breeder but gives you a bit more height. of course then you might need a bit stronger light but i think the scaping abilities are worth it.

Meh, 5G is a little too small for my taste lol. That's delving into the nano realm and i'm not to partial to nano's. I really like the 50G's though. Even the 40G breeders are nice for some amazing rockwork. I'll probably wind up having two SW tanks in the future. One 75G and one 38G or 40G like JOM's.

Thanks everyone!

Well I wish I went with the 50g that I originally had planned for, only because of the extra width though. I like the 3ft length though. I do plan to upgrade the tank when I move to probably a 75g, but the 38g is enough for me now.

Some full tank shots since I got the new corals:

You can how small the zoas are in the FTS. :)
