Is there any species of Juli's and Shellies that can co-exist without killing each other. I know Shellies are known for killing fish, sometimes bigger than them.

My stocking idea is:

Pair of Julidochromis marlieri
1M Multi
3F Multi

I do NOT plan on breeding them. Although if it happens, I have a LFS that will take them off my hands or the Juli's will get some protein from the fry.

If those don't work together, should I just stick to exclusively Juli's or Shellies?

My escargot shells arrive Tuesday or Wednesday and I do plan on getting at least 2 more THR pieces based on the answers I get off this thread.

Also not opposed to different stocking. I like Brevis, Ocellatus, Brichardi's (even though it would have to be just Brichardi's from what I understand), really any of the Neolamprologus.

I would really like a bunch of different species if possible. So Brichardis are out of the question

Well just ordered this so far

×6 julidochromis marlieri magara
×5 neolamprologus multifasciatus
