Juwel rio 180 L (50 gal) cichlid stocking question

Agreed on the pairs. Mixing cichlids can be real tricky, especially if you don't have the luxury of moving fish from one tank to another. I've had combinations fail after working beautifully for well over a year. Cichlids will keep you on your toes.

I didnt ask for beginner level though but thanks for the tips, bu again how many convicts could go together en that tank ? All males

$85 for a festivum, i paid £5 for one the other day thats about 2.5". Thats about $8-9.

50 gallon possibilities (male), Sajica, Convict, Panamensis, EBJD, Rainbow, Blue Acara, Firemouth, Honduran Red point, port acara. I would go with 4 max though, unless you have a 5 of Sajica, Panamensis, HRP, Rainbow, port acara as they are a bit smaller.
