my first killifish egg started to hatch today but its tail has been stuck out of the egg all day without it coming out! is this a problem or do they take a while to come out?

One way I heard of getting the eggs to force hatch is to stick them in a small container of tank water, put the container in your pocket, and go for a walk around the block.
