koi in fish tank?

im quite sure this is a stupid Q but can you put koi in an indoor fish tank? if so what does 1 koi need (ie tank size) can they be by them self how big do koi get? it be cool to have a few koi's indoors in a tank

I know they can be indoor tanks. I seen some before I would say at least 90G or more IMO. My friend breeds them in a indoor tub. Or even 125G tank

I'm no expert on fw wish but I do know koi fish need huge tanks. That is why you see them in ponds. I would say nothing less than a 250 gallon tank. Check out liveaquaria.com for more info on them.
Ps I just checked and they recommend a minimum of a 1000gallon pond FYI.
