I have had some severe issues with my 36 gallon ( 40lbs live rock, 40 lbs live sand, aqua c skimmer, 2 fishes carbon reactor, reef octopus hob fuge...water tested well constantly with low nitrate/nitrite/phosphate and with salinity at 1.23 and temp of 75).
Two clowns died and one 3 stripe damsel. I believe that was due to my top offs (treated tap water vice rodi).
I have no fish in the tank but have a cleanup crew (4 hermits plus a dozen snails).
Now out of nowhere i see these little things (2 seen so far) swimming from one crevice of my lr to another. I believe they are lancelets, and i cant find any info on them.
Are they bad? Should i pull the rock and clean it and recycle the tank?
Any info would be appreciated.
