I've thought about doing some bluegill/brim since I live on a lake and they don't get near as big. Sad to see a largemouth in a smaller tank like that they can get really big.

+1 imo 16 inch LMB should be in the 2.5-3 pound range depending on the species (Florida strain vs Northern strain)

Large mouth bass are lots of fun! There's some at my favorite high school in a HUGE Aquaponics system. They are full of personality. There was like 10 of them and they would go through these clear tunnels and follow you around the classroom. It was really neat!

I might be going there. I've already been accepted! It's a school all about animals. Agriculture, Veterinary science, marine biology etc. it's like my dream school! I didn't know it existed until recently.
