So I got to wake up to a leaky tank today.
Luckily I have another tank on hand, but I'm looking to move my fish (1 goldfish) in the calmest way possible.
I know a new tank has to cycle to be properly safe for fish, but in this case I don't have much time for a cycle, because my fish needs a tank. Right now he's in a travel container. In just a little while I'll be able to get back home and set up the new tank. Is it advisable to just keep as much water as possible from the old tank in order to maintain the water conditions?
It's been years since I've had a tank leak...
Thanks so much!!
