Ok, so while researching aquarium stuff online I stumbled over a thing that's totally new to me: Vodka Dosing for aquariums O.O

It's supposed to lower nitrates and PO4
Anybody here have any experience with that?

Be very careful. Carbon dosing is a delicate thing to do and can destroy a reef if not done properly.

I don't dose vodka, I use a different method of carbon dosing. I use bio-pellets in a reactor.

I think I will stay away from it for now. 10 gal does not give much margin for error.

I was jut wondering if anybody did it. Was just surprised to find it and apparently some ppl on other sites swear on it

My lfs doses vodka... Everyday too..

What size tank? It is just a carbon source. Ususally for large tanks. Just drink the vodka and everything will be fine.
