Once I upgrade my SW tank into the 30 gallon, I want to upgrade my planted 5 gallon into the 10g. Right now I only have a 15 watt fluorescent strip on the tank which I don't think is quite enough. I'd like to have medium light on the tank, I will have DIY CO2, but I don't want to be pruning constantly like I have to do with the 55. Given the small-tank effect, what wattage should I shoot for? THe tank will have some crypts and dwarf sag from the 5, and some clippings from the 55, nothing fancy.

around 30 watts of t8 is what i have on mine and thats about medium to high. so your probaly going to have to put another light strip on it.
