Hello there, it's been a while since I last posted on here. I'm just looking for light suggestions for my 5.5g rimless tank. I don't need very strong lighting but I do need non wimpy lighting considering the plants I have. It's just time for me to upgrade from my make-do light system (screen, chip bag clips, and a light in a light holdy thing).

Here are my plants:
Green Cabomba
Java fern
Anubias Afezelli
Moneywort
Rotala rotundifolia
micro sword
Cardamine

If you have any light suggestions at all I would love to hear them! Or if you know about this lighting that I found on amazon: http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B008QV..._r_am_ip_am_us Thank you so much!!!

Finnex FugeRay

I have a 12" on my 2.5g and a 24" on my 20g and I couldn't be more happy. They will provide more than enough light for your plants.

+1 with bevoholic, Finnex are good brands. Also a good LED light is the TrueLumen Pro 12" (which is how long I assume your tank is) LED strips- I would get the Sun White 8,000K. I have 2 of the 48" on my tank and they are designed to penetrate all the way to the bottom of the tank with a high output LED system without growing algae, and they work great for me plus add a nice shimmer to the water :)

Both suggestions are good.... BUT for a 5.5g, the:
*Finnex FugeRay = low to medium light plants
*Finnex Ray 2 or Current TrueLumen Pro = high light plants (co2 injection needed)

So my vote would go Finnex FugeRay with the plants you listed.
