Lillies in the field?

I planted these guys from bulbs when I first redid the substrate. I thought they were "slow" growers but to my surprise, they sprouted and at the moment, I have several that are trying to push their way out of the tank.

Thank goodness for hoods.

Those are great plants JC........wait till they start pushing for the surface.
I've had mine grow 2 feet in as many days.
 
i have both green and red ones in my tank i find that the red grow much faster then the green :?
 
I love the color and shape of those plants, BUT they are too much of a light hog in anything but a low light tank. They take up too much space.

Here is mine in Low light!
