Good addition? We got rid of our brittle star last night and would like to get another kind of star but not sure if this is a wise move. We know they are reef safe. thx

very sensitive to water quality conditions. not known to be very hardy.

I tried a Blue Lincka once. It only lasted 3 days. They are very sensitive to salinity and pH changes, After doing further research I have read they need a long acclimation period of a few hours with a slow drip into a bucket to acclimate them properly. Hopefully someone who has a Lincka will post. Good Luck.

I have a linckia, I've had it for several months now...but I expect I'll be getting rid of it soon. I have recently found that they require a tank of at least 100g with mature LR, to sustain them. So that is the reason I wouldn't recommend one for you...acclimation isn't that hard so long as you are aware of it's needs, but it would die within a year from lack of nutrition.
