loaches in 20 gal?

Are there any types of loaches that would do well in a 20gal? Or are they all too large.

I really like clowns but I know they would get too big

Plenty, actually....consider some Botia sidthimunki, or some Schistura mahnerti , for instance.

I personally recommend Yo-Yo Loaches. They stay fairly small, about 4" max. They also have great personalitys. I have 2 in my 20, and they get along fine with all the other fish. Only fish that ever troubled them was my late female German Blue Ram. She would chase them, but nothing ever happend from that.

I've heard they eat snails but they have real small mouths so they would be eating tiny snails
