Loaches Question

They might "rest" or burrow near to each other but I doubt they will school together all the time. I have 5 kuhli loaches and 4 golden dojo loaches and they don't mind each other but by no means do they school. Merely co-exist.

They can live with each other but probably won't school with each other.

Dojos get quite large and can be escape artists.
And I doubt they would school together.
The more Kuhlis you have the better they behave. Dojos are social, but not as needy as the Kuhlis IME.

Kuhlis need to be in large groups with other kuhlis. I have 12 right now. They love to snuggle up together in a favorite rock or driftwood crevice.
The fewer you have the less you will see them.
Also, dojo loaches are a cool water fish and should not be kept in tropical temps.
