How would you classify a low tech tank and a high tech one? What about medium tech? What would you call a tank with low lights, with co2 and fert dosing?
Obviously there are different types of lights but what would you consider a "high light" and "low light".
These terms are used rather loosely and I just want to hear what you think.
For the sake of comparison let's just say that the tank is a standard 5 gallon.

Feel free to post pics of your high/low tech tanks

Low Light vs Med vs High Light depends on the actual PAR
Low Tech = not injecting CO2
High Tech = injected CO2 and the associated ferts and gear.

DIY CO2 = medium tech ?? LOL

My low light/low tech tank
10g
2 mini CFLs 6,500k 10-13watts each
Liquid ferts and occasional Excel
Feeding time 10g Shrimp Jungle: http://youtu.be/aptmdICahvM

I'd call it a happy tank :)
As long as you are doing weekly PWCs and check your water's parameters it should be fine.

The problems arise usually with people trying to put high light on a tank without injecting or adding CO2 or adding the proper fertilizers.
