magnum 350 canister vs ?

I am looking for a decently priced canister for my new 55g. I already have an emporer 400 hob on the tank with a maxi-jet 1200 power head. What canister should I use. Like I said I am really looking hard at the magnum 350 pro new for 99.99 on amazon.

OK so I got the magnum 350 after a couple days research. Now my question is media what should I run in it? I am a big fan of bio filtration. Which is why I like marineland products. Also I am running the emporer 400 on this 55g tank. Any ideas on media for it? Right now it has ceramic rings in the fill trays that came with the filter and 2 filter pads I cut myself.

Thats all you need. If you'd like you can buy more ceramic rings and swap em out with one of the filter pads but that's it.
