male or female bristle?

I have a Bristlenose plec whose just over 3inches I was wondering how can I tell what gender she is, bristles have started to appear around her mouth is there any other visible signs to help. Thanks any advice would be great

My bn is about 3 inches and no bristles. Had it for about 6 months and it has always been the same size. I believe it to be a female due to the lack of bristles. I would say yours is probably a male. Someone with more knowledge on them will correct me if I am wrong ?

Looks like a female to me, lack of bristles. You say 3 inch? Can't guarantee until slightly larger but looks female at this stage.
