Missing banggai cardinal...

It's been missing since last night we looked in all the caves and around the tank for in case he jumped. Does anyone have any idea what could have happened to it? Can they bury themselves?

Did you check the filter intakes? If you have a sump, did you check there?

So sad they are very delicate critters
Too bad, they are an endangered species. If you get another one please make sure it's a tank bred one, not tank raised or wild

Thanks... And next time we'll make sure to get a tank bred one. I did my own research and most people said their wild ones never lasted more than two weeks. I guess that helps us know we didn't do anything wrong.
