So I have a 55 with Anubis and some other kind of plant. Not sure what kind. I would like to get a moon light so I can watch the tank at night and light my room a little. Any ideas?

LED strip lights work great. If you have any DIY skills, you could assemble in about 10 minutes, for under $20. You just need:

12 in. - Blue - LED - Tape Light - 24 Volt

LED Driver - 12 Watt Max. - 120-277V Input

also a small bit of wire, and a cord (you can use about any cord, you can even cut one off some old device and use that).

You can buy the led strip and power input off ebay for less than $9 (which includes shipping) but it did take a just over a week for mine to arrive (make sure you buy from a US seller)

I have a 48" tank and have 2 x 12" led strips on timers. I found that one strip didn't illuminate the ends at all but the two strips illuminate the middle and faintly at the ends. Not a brilliant picture but you get the idea.ImageUploadedByAquarium Advice1389563351.841645.jpg
