I bought two nice pcs. of mopani dw. They were boiled for three days and left to cool in cold water for two days. They have been in my tanks for over three weeks. (1 pc.in 10g betta tank & the other in my 20g community) I looked at the wood this afternoon and there was this white, slimmy, fuzzy stuff on the lighter side only. Nothing on the dark side and it is only on the 10g pc. What is it and how do I get rid of it?

It's just a harmless fungus that will eventually go away on its own. In the meantime you can always just scrap it off manually if it bothers you.
