Excuse the dirty glass.
See signature for inhabitants, but add Acei 'Ngara' now.
Hope you like...

Looking really good. How many fish in total? I'm curious if you tried to do the 2 female to 1 male ratio. I tried it for some species but not all of them.

53 in that tank. 15-20 odd are still only young, and i've juggled a few around recently.
have 26 more maingano, 18 acei ngara and 3 more dimi comps out in the other tank,
which is pretty bare (READ: Grow-out tank)
I did try 1 male : 2 females with the latifasciata, but they killed the male. Most of them I am holding for a friend so only have 2 males and 5 females which are mine.
The friebergi are going, as are the green chromides and a few other spares. They are being donated to a school for the cichlid setup in the agriculture department.

Thanks for the kind words :)

I also found the 2 female to one male ratio didn't work in all species. Mine are all grown now. I have some jacofrebergi's waiting to be added but they are still too small. LOL tank seems bare when they are juvies, I had the hardest time imagining how full it would look when they were grown. Like your first pic, it seems more bare than the other pics due to the small size of the fish and the fantastic hiding spots you have. It will look very impressive indeed when they are all grown.
