So I recently upgraded to a 20g tall and my foreground plant is.t spreading the way I wanted it to. Can I use flame moss as a foreground plant? I really like the way it looks

Foreground, yes. Carpet... probably not the best option. There are some nifty methods of covering rocks and such available to the wise google user.

You can try tying it to stainless steel or plastic mesh squares, but it's tough to get Moss to grow as a carpet. Flame Moss is cool :)

Yah I had seen some people do this but that would definitely take a lot of mesh. I know moss tends to grow up more than out so that doesn't help either. I just really like the way flame moss looks and I think a carpet of it would look sweet. I just really want a foreground plant that will take over. I have both hairgrass and microswords in there now and they both are growing dead slow. I don't think that the microswords have even grown at all
