I currently have a 20g long community tank that I'd really like to move to a 40g Breeder to be able to add some more fish and more space!
In my current setup I have:
- 5 Rummynose Tetras
- 5 Glowlight Tetras
- 3 Siamese Algae Eaters
- 5 Rainbow Fish
- 1 Female Betta

If I moved all these fish to a 40g, I'd like to add a few more, but I'm not quite sure what yet. I love big fish with personality but I'm not sure what I could add with the female betta that would get along. I also don't really want to move the female betta because she loves how much room she currently has in the 20g.
I've looked at possibly adding some Longfin Zebra Danios because I like how the look but still not sure and very open to suggestions.

Orrrrrrr, should I leave the 20g alone and get cichlids for the 40g???

If you want personality, add a pair of ram cichlids. They are peaceful, not too hard to keep and gorgeous. They are my favourite fish.

Keep in mind rainbows are voracious fast eaters where rams and others might not be
