oh, and for the record, that fish food that you saw in the video is the container for goldfish food but the food it really contains is the tropical food. I just normally transferred the tropical food there from the big container so I can mix some goodies on them and crushed them a little bit so it is in smaller bites than its normal size.

just thought I would throw this in here just so if someone will think I am feeding the tropical fish goldfish foods. :-D

Lol
I feel relieve now !

Absolutely beautiful tanks, Daileene! I especially love the columns/rock w/ sand/pebbles you have in the 1 tank! :D

Oh and, I had to put "Finding Nemo" on to keep my son busy so I could make this post. lol

Ohhh thank you girl. That tank with the column/rock is where all your plants will go and i put some of the anacharis on the other 20G too. That is so cute that you put the finding nemo for your son. I love that movie. 'Keep on swimming, keep on swimming....' :-D

Daileene your tanks are coming along wonderfully! I can always count on you to include lots of pictures ;) We all love visual threads!

Good thank you! I just got an order from severum mama- a bunch of crypts. Once they settle in and fill out I think they will add the element of lushness I was looking for. Very excited!

Great shoots! Do you have CO2 in your planted tanks ? I have not being able to keep vas alive in my tank, looks like the excel kill them

I just started to dose the CO2 liquid booster like 2 weeks ago, but since I know that vals, anacharis and now hornwort are sensitive with CO2 liquids, I tried to dose it away from them, not on top of where they are. I have seen that it worked since my vals and anacharis and the leftover of my hornwort from my first mishap, are still alive.

I am planning on doing a DIY CO2 in all my tanks so I hope that will not affect the vals and anacharis in the long run.

Okay, just an update of what plants I have in here:

Crypt Lucens
Crypt Lutea
Crypt Parva
Crypt Spiralis
Crypt Balansae
Anubias Barteri var. Nana 'petite'
Java fern 'Philippine'
Java Moss
Anacharis
Hornwort
Rotala Indica
Water Sprite (Ceratopteris Cornuta)
Dwarf Sagittaria
Melon Sword (Echinodorus Osiris)
Italian Val
Aponogeton Echinatus
Frogbit

Lot of plants there! I'm trying indica too with no luck. Out of curiosity, are you getting some nice growth out of it?

I have seen some new leaves coming out shooting upwards. So far it is somewhat slow but I am hoping they will grow faster when I finally setup my DIY CO2.

Looks like that tank is starting to grow in nicely. I'll be curious to see how it progresses with the CO2.
