That would be it! Thank you ill be at the LFS tomorrow to get all that plus some sand i believe 5 pounds? Also will be getting 15lbd base rock and 10lbs live rock to be on the cheaper side of things with my student budget and low income from Disneyland haha

Quick update...My 2 peppermint shrimp are now out of my tank due to them trying to eat or destroy my new acan. After 1 day of those getting picked at it is looking better, it opened up fully today but one mouth is damaged. Im not sure if that part will make a recovery or not.

If you plan on getting acans do a google search with peppermint shrimp and acan. Alot of people have had issues. Just a tip. I traded in the shrimp and a few frags at my LFS. Got a new brain frag. Here are some pics of my corals under blue leds. Its hard for my camera to focus with just the blue lights so bare with me while I get a new one.

What type of return pump do you have? I have a multi use water pump and power head but i dont think i can run the nabo cube without a ruturn pump?

I would recommend you use a return pump and a streamer too! The return pump doesn't want to be too powerful though as if it's too quick you won't get the water spending the time going through your filtration if you get me??? My streamer is moving the lower water column and the return pump is agitating the surface!

Thank you any idea what return pump to get? Sorry im a college student thats works and cant do alot of research

Not sure mate as your tank is slightly bigger than mine? Just get one that will turn your water over 4-6 times an hr and be able to fit in your back space! A trip to your LFS will do I'm sure they will have something suitable for you????

For the nano cubes I would say either a mj 600 or 900. It fits in the back perfectly and runs off the pre-existing 1/2" tubing.

Thats why i dont have the tubing fir it so i need a new tube and a new elbow to control the flow

1/2" tubing is like 95 cents a foot at any hardware store and as far as the elbow it should be in the same section. You just have to see what size your bulkhead is and then if it's threaded or a slip joint

Its a slip i have one from a fresh water tank but its all crudded up inside and rather replace to minimize future threats

Hey everyone, doing a update today. Few new things from a local frag swap the other day. Got some zoas and acans. I added a vortech MP10 to my system as well. Everything is going good exept Im battling some red slime. Doing 2 water changes a week and dosing Special Blend. Going to give it a few weeks and see what happens. Day 71 today on my build.

Looks great! Thinking about adding a mp10 to my 30g. Did you add the regular or wireless? Do you only have one? Do you like it?

I think its just the regular model. I think its a great addition to my nano. The flow the jbj 28gal isnt very strong even though it has a "wave maker" to switch up the current in the tank.

quick update tonight. After installing my MP10 and cutting back on feeding a bit, my red slime is starting to go away I believe. the red slime that forms on the sand when the light is on gets blown away by the MP10. The MP10 is really helping out with this stuff
