Well this is my 55 gallon fresh water tank. I have two filters on it. One HOB filter the other a canister. The canister was $35 on Craigslist (I have no idea what brand or make it is) it did not come with any hoses so I just picked some up from Lowes and some PVC pipe for a spray bar. This was my first attempt at a tank but now I will starting a 75 gallon reef aquarium.

Nice! Even though im a fan of a more natural lookkng substrate it isnt too bad! Thanks for sharing.

Thank you. I shopped around for hoses designed for an eheim and way too expensive so I through that together.

I regretted not using a more natural substrate after the fact and just never got around to changing it. It ended up growing on me.

Looks a little lite on the hiding places though but idk what your putting in it but other thn tht looks like a kick a$$ tank

I have ghost cat fishes, neon tetras, various guppies, and some Sunburst platty

Don't need hiding places for those. Just watch the impulse buy lol

Haha I'm done stocking these tank for a while. Honestly I may have to tear it down. My living situation may change but we will see.

I switched out the rocks from the very first pics with eco complete and I also picked up this co2 system for $100. I am now just waiting on the new light I ordered which should be here today.

That's the plan not sure what plans I want just yet.

Added some sand in the middle just cause. I really like how it turned out

Your tank is beautiful! Very clean lines. I like the touch of white sand. Perfect! Sorry, to hear about your fish.
