My betta sick?

I really need help on this one. This morning I woke up to check on both my aquariums and I surprisingly saw my blue Crowntail Betta's caudal fin has changed color. There is an area that has turned gray. His behavior seems normal, he has ate and looks really healthy. Please can some one reply I want to know what to do and if to quarantine him.

It's normal for Betta to change colour as they mature. How long have u had this one for? Have u tested Ur water?

I've had him for almost 8 months and no I havnt tested water

Let us know Ur water parameters. What size is Ur tank? Filtered? heated?
