This guy is a major survivor! He's an original occupant from when I rescued the tank however this I'm not sure if him dislodging from the rock and forming those nodules as seen in the pics is a good thing or bad thing. He's not loose, still firmly attached so that comforts me. So I'm asking is this how they sprout new coral nodes or is this a more concerning problem
Tank:
29 gal BioCube original lighting, skimmer, modified filter over rock rubble, and a secondary pump.
Lighting: CoraLife 10,000K and Actinic lamps. I do not have a timer.
Placement:
at the bottom of the mid range for my tank.
Tests available: (API Liquid drops)
pH 8.2
Ammonia 0
Nitrite 0
Nitrite ranging between 0-5
Calcium 400
Temp maintains between 77.8-79.8
Moderate flow
No other coral within his reach or their reach.
