My female betta has ick is this good brand to treat her

Had a spotted cat fish and it was the only biggest fish in my tank it got ick and died but I treated it with a pill thingy now my Betta is the only one in my tank that has ick all my others don't



The water turns blue but is this a good brand



Plz help I'm only 15 I don't know much

I've heard that rid ich specifically can kill off the beneficial bacteria in your filter, but I'm not sure about the brand you have there. I only ever treat ich with aquarium salt, water changes, and raised temperatures.

Is this tank cycled? What are the water parameters?

No it's a 10 gallon rectangle with 2 ghost shrimp 2 fancy guppies 2 Cory cats 1 betta

So no its not cycled? Do you have a test kit? I'd say you should probably do a water change right now to be safe.

I don't have money to buy those things right now and I'll change the water tommarow cuz its 9:48 pm thanx for the advice

Try looking online, like on Amazon. It's absolutely imperative to have your own liquid test kit and to cycle your tank. Especially since you have fish in there already, because they will die from ammonia/nitrite if you don't keep them down. Which is hard to do without a test kit.
