My Fluval Edge Freshwater Setup

Oh cool!!! Glad to see that you found a solution. I wish I did this from the start in my setup... I found out the hard way until I had to get a second set of bulbs.

Now the metal screen on the top cover is starting to show signs of rust spots. Looks like I'm going to have to research how to spray paint it safely (like what protects and dries in a non-toxic state).
 
I ended up turning this one into a saltwater setup and transferred everything I had in it to a 20 gallon tank. I also added a 6" blue LED strip to the light setup. Here's some pics!

Wondering where you picked up the blue led lighting..have been thinking about picking up another fluval my self to have a side by side with 1 freshwater planted& saltwayer w/coral..would be cool to have them both setup..
 
I got these 3 corals yesterday! 1 torch, 1 candycane, and 1 xenia.

Nice setup! Thinking of either doin a salt setup,will either buy the fluval with the 21 led lighting or change my current one over..its a toss up
