This is my new 75 gallon that will be Hi-Tech planted. As of right now it has a 3x54watt T5HO fixture, more plants and Co2 is on the way. The tank is a German Blue Ram and Electric Blue ram breeding tank, Will be stocked with 3 pairs of them, along with Pearl Gouramis, Cardinal Tetras, and Otos. May keep my Serpae tetras depending how the get along with the rams.

Let me know what you think, Ill keep this thread updated as time moves on and the tank changes.

yeah, very cool formations... very natural looking, I wanna see it progress!!

Im glad to hear that because thats what im going for

Today: Removed 13 Serpae tetras that im going to the LFS, and putting in 6x Pearl Gouramies tomorrow all 1 Inch long. Also putting in a Co2 System im hoping ill have time to do so.

I just added 2x powder blue gouramis last week... What interesting fish, especially with the front fins they use for feelers, definitely add personality to a tank, will those gouramis mess with the tetra, or are you trying to keep the bioload down? My powders are in with 10x blue tetra and everyone gets along famously.

Nice tank, sweet drift wood. I think the addition of a black backdrop would make that layout look killer!

iv been thinking about doing a black backdrop, I was going to pain it origonaly but Ill be moving out of this place soon and want to do a walk around tank possibly so been thinking about using a back drop of some kind but not sure what to use.

my LFS had the plastic ones and I found one that was very dark that worked really well... not completely black, but not overdoing it either....

Well a new store opened up and they specialize in planted aquariums so they have tons of plants and fish. Got a pair you German Rams from them today and they look great, much better color then the other pair I have.

Thanks I think this hobby will develop well for me, Iv been very sucessful so far beings Iv only been doing this for 2 months. This site has helped me tremedisly and the information I have gotten off here and the research Iv done has allowed me to do it right the first time.

I really love the way its come along, The swords are losing their leaves right now because they were grown out of water so Ill need to allow their immersed leafs to come in.
