I can’t believe how much my crypts are growing. They melted a bit when I started over but are now bigger than they ever were.

I haven’t trinmed anything yet. This new iteration of my tank has been running about as you see it for about 3 months. The rotala is the newest about 1 month now. I’m trying to grow them out long just in case I decide to move them.

But with my old setup, trimming wasn’t difficult at all. I have a 3 step stool that I am pretty much on top of the tank and my kids usually helped me with guiding. Sometimes I use an iPad and an iPhone on FaceTime so I can see everything live.

Haha. Yup. It was awkward at first but I got used to it. But now I don’t really need it as much.
