My 75 Gallon has been up and running with Peacocks and some hybrid babies for a couple years and doing well. I took on a rescue grouping of fish (black fin Tetras and an Orange and white goldfish) so I put them in my 40 G. I noticed the Tetras that are mixed with Serpas and Danios were getting some wicked fin nipping and found that the culprit was the Goldfish.
So I had to get the gold fish out quick. I may have been thinking bad but threw him into the Peacock tank. I know you all are saying what the heck , well after 2 1/2 weeks the dang goldfish thinks he is a Cichlid and sometimes chases them a little. No agression noted Seems a harmonic balance. Anyone got anything to warn or simular situations???:angel:

That's funny Mike but when I put goldfish into my tanks they're called feeders! You may want to keep it quiet that your cichlids are being bullied by a goldfish, maybe a little toughness training is in order. Lol.

Thats what Im thinking, they must be so darn happy in thier tank they welcome goldfish visitors lol Its odd for sure.

P.S. I love the Avatar, Truffle Shuffle meets Never ending story (Nice)
