my redtail catfish

I have 2 redtail catfish 4 inches long in a 75 gal tank and I have 2 questions one of the cat fish left eye seems to be getting bigger what causes it and how do you fix it . And the second question is it normal for both of them being terrified of the light

Yes it sounds like Popeye and yea they don't like the light what I do is put mine on a timer so he gets use to it. When they are small they hide a lot. I have a 20" redtail that has been mine since 3" he started out real shy now I can hand feed him and the light doesn't really bother him although he prefers it off. Good luck with your fish
