Nardoa starfish falling apart

O I am noticing small pieces of flesh disappearing from my Nardoa starfish. Is it starving to death or disease or maybe something attacking it.still moves around fine, have had it about a year. My understanding is that they Are omnivores

stars molt liek all other inverts. i could be stressed out or it could be that your water perameters are not well. keep an eye on it sometimes these pieces split and become another star fish

Ok. But it's more like it's losing pieces of flesh. Like I can see the inside of the leg. And it looks like other peices are starting to do the same thing
