I purchased a planted tank with some fish that was "snail free" that turned out not to be snail free... Any suggestions on how to get rid of them? 10 gallon tank guppies mollies and multies shell dwellers (multies are being moved to a bigger tank ASAP).I'm ok with a few but not a hundred its so over run! Is there anything I can do to get rid of them and the eggs, I would prefer to not have to move my fish as this is a new tank and it is in quarantine for two weeks. I don't want to spred anything this tank may have to my other tanks. Any advice is appreciated thanks for looking:)

An algaecide is pretty effective at neutralizing snails. Just make sure there are no other snails or shellfish you'd like to keep alive in the tank. Constantly scoop them out and trash them.
