Well, the loaches wont be in with the JD if you set up a separate tank for him, right? And you will still be able to see your precious loaches even if your dad or brother have them

i was kinda hoping they could go in with him. Lol i really dont want my dad to have them cause he is the dumbass who bought the JD, and my brothers well they only have ten gallons and i wouldnt trust them to feed my fish if i was gone for a week anyway.

I think the loaches would be okay for a while at least. Some fish dont see bottom feeders as food. And some do...
