Need id please

Got these from a friend and he has no idea what they are. They are pretty beat up from being in a tank with a large jag and flower horn. I'm thinking geophagus brasilensis but not sure.

I posted a thread on these a while back and got some good feedback but not enough to sway one way or the other. The guy I got them from said the were in a tank labeled geophagus.

I'd agree on the brasiliensis labeling, just remember, these guys aren't gonna be like most geos, they are gonna be on the more aggressive side. I have a friend who keeps his big male with a medium sized peacock bass even

I'm getting rid of them soon. They are in a spare tank by themselves now and I never considered putting them in with my other geos. I just wanted to be able to tell the new owner what they were getting.
