Need some advise please

I have a 55g sump and wanted to know if anyone have plants growing inside theirs or just bare?? Just trying to get iddeas on what i should do.

You can grow plants in there. Just get some nitrate sponges like hornwort, duckweed, anacharis and other fast growing plants. Pretty much anything really. These plants will help t filter the water a little bit more as well.

You could easily do plants in the sump with sufficient lighting. Hornwort is great for soaking up nitrates and grows like a weed in good conditions.
