OK...My tank has been doing good so far. 29Gal BioCube. Added the LR last week and as of Friday no Ammonia, Practically no Nitrite or Nitrate.

I came in this morning and the tank has brown/green algae all over it. (see attached pics)

The numbers are still good. No Ammonia, No Nitrite and less than 10ppm Nitrate.

I was going to put a clown fish in today. Should I not do it now, until I get this algae thing resolved? I assuming some snails will take care of this problem? Please let me know.

Looks like diatoms which is normal and should burn themselves out over time. You could help it along by adding a few grazing snails like astrea and ceriths as well as some blue legged hermits.

Acording to the list that floats around here. I have a few things in my tank that have poped up within the last 2 days. Some are good and some are bad (I think).

Spionid Worms
FeatherDusters
Snails
Spaghetti Worms
A Polyp
Clams or muscles or something like that

The two things I am seeing that disturb me are:

Aiptasia and Digitate Hydroids.

The page says to get rid of them...how do I do that?
